UK businesses spend, on average, 7 hours a week running the numbers. With Square AI, instead of taking 30 minutes to run a report, it can now take 5. The free conversational assistant launched in February 2026 with a rollout at the Outernet in London. Business leads, press, sellers and Jack Dorsey patched in for the event, which featured an operator panel, live product demo and fireside chat with British restaurateur Nisha Katona. As the lead copywriter, I crafted the campaign headlines, paid social and display copy. The goal was simple: position Square AI as a practical tool, not some hype machine. On launch day, Square saw a +129% increase in users and 37% increase after the event.
